STATE x Japan Artisan Series. The city of Nara in Japan is like no other. Though its rich history and ruins have earned a UNESCO heritage site designation, it’s the wild deer that roam the city that make it unforgettable. This inspired a STATE x Japan style that explores the intersection of structure and freeform design with its delicately shaped acetate front, handcrafted in the Chicago STATE factory, and strong, yet flexible beta-titanuim temples, manufactured in Japan.
